WHAT TO EXPECT FROM CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENT

If you’re suffering from any of the above problems, we recommend you schedule an evaluation with our chiropractor so we can determine whether chiropractic adjustment is the right treatment for you. If you are a viable candidate for spinal adjustment, we will take the time to explain the procedure to you so you know what to expect from your session.

For starters, keep in mind that many of our patients need several sessions of treatment in order to maximize their results. Although we try to set the right expectation on time, your time in our office will depend on how many people are in the waiting room. New patients will usually be in the room with the doctor for 10 minutes, whereas returning patients usually are in the room for 5-7 minutes.

One of the most common questions patients have about chiropractic adjustments is whether the procedure will hurt. The answer is no! Typically, you will feel a little pressure and you may even hear some popping noises as the chiropractor works on your spine. However, the procedure is painless and many of our patients find that it is actually quite relaxing.

How long it takes for you to experience improvement of your symptoms can vary from one patient to the next. Some patients report that they enjoy pain relief as soon as the first session is over with, whereas it may take a little longer for others. It really depends on the specific injury or condition from which you’re suffering and your own physiology.
